About Us
Born from a passion for living.
Mal's Diner is a 50's Diner on wheels, which was born from a passion for living. We feel the 50's were an era that brought people together with things like great food, cars and sock hops. Whether it was gathering at a community hall for rock and roll and jive dancing, a drive-in theatre for snacks, a late night movie and possibly a little smooching, a parking lot to share a passion for automobiles, or a diner to share in good food and friendships, the 50's were packed with life and love.

We are not chefs. We are just people like yourselves. People who care about people and would like to pay homage to classic 50's food and lifestyle.
We believe food brings people together and when people are brought together our world is a better place. We hope to be a vehicle (pun intended!), for people to gather as a community with life, love and laughter!
Do you have a minimum or maximum number of guests?
We do not have a minimum serving requirement. Due to the nature of our menu being handmade and prepared fresh, we need to ensure we do not jeopardize the quality by having to rush too many people in a short time frame. We will discuss all details regarding numbers with you at the time of booking.
What do you require to operate the trailer onsite?
The trailer is 30 feet by 8 1/2 feet. It is pulled by Mal's truck, which requires a total of 50 feet in length. If the truck needs to be unhooked for the event, an area to park the truck nearby is required. As the trailer is 8 1/2 feet wide, we will still require atleast 12 feet in width to allow room for service. We can run off power provided by the host for a quiester experience, or we can operate the diner from our power generators.

Do you make vegetarian or gLUten free options?
Yes we do. We have a handcrafted vegetarian burgers, which has garnered tremendous reviews. Our burgers are gluten friendly and can be served on lettuce rather than a bun. We also carry gluten free buns if we are advised of any allergies or dietary restrictions beforehand. Our custom menu allows us to change whatever is needed!
what are your payment options?
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Interac, and E-transfer. If
arrangements are made prior, we can also accept cheques.
